Woman’s Club of Lodi — Wine Tasting
The Woman’s Club of Lodi is hosting a Wine Tasting event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 10 in All Veterans Plaza, which is located on Pine Street between City Hall and Carnegie Forum. The event will feature several local wineries for tasting, appetizers and live music. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased by calling Judy Petersen at 209712-8123.
Hospice of San Joaquin — Coping with the Loss of your Father Workshop
Hospice of San Joaquin is offering a free, in-person workshop for anyone in our community grieving the loss of their father. This workshop offers grief education as well as an opportunity to honor, reflect and remember your father. 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at 1300 W. Lodi Ave., Suite S, Lodi. Adventist Health — Support Group for Adult Children with Aging Parents
More than 6 million elderly Americans need assistance with basic needs such as getting out of bed, managing finances and more. Most of these needs are met by family members and can become quite emotionally taxing. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial offers a support group to address the concerns and emotions faced by caregivers related to the aging relative.
Participants will learn about coping, managing stress, establishing limits, selfcare, choosing options, long-term care, community resources, and involving others.
We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Adult Day Care at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi. Call 209-369-4443 for more information.
