At No. 23 Oklahoma State 50, Texas Tech 44:

-

Dezmon Jackson rushed for career highs of 235 yards and three touchdowns, and the Cowboys bounced back from a disappointing loss to rival Oklahoma to beat the Red Raiders and remain in the running for a spot in the Big 12 title game. Jackson had 36 carries in part because the top two backs, Chuba Hubbard and LD Brown, did not play. Oklahoma State still ran for a season-high 317 yards. Hubbard was out with a right ankle injury.

John Mayers kicked a 30-yard field goal on the final play to end the Bears’ five-game losing streak. Charlie Brewer completed 31 of 39 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 56 yards and two scores despite getting sacked seven times. The senior quarterback had a one-yard touchdown keeper with 4:16 left before Kansas State went three and out and punted. The final drive for Baylor began from its 31 with a five-yard run by Brewer, but with Kansas State coming up with the ball after it popped out. A long replay review determined that Brewer’s knee was down before the fumble.

Texas Christian 59, at Kansas 23: Max Duggan threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as the Horned Frogs rebounded from a lopsided loss to West Virginia. Duggan connected with Pro Wells for two touchdowns, including a 24-yard strike to give Texas Christian a 31-6 lead in the second quarter. Duggan added a 58-yard scoring run before halftime. Texas Christian receiver Derius Davis returned from strep throat and returned a punt 37 yards for a touchdown. Miles Kendrick threw for two touchdowns for the Jayhawks, who lost their 12th straight dating to last season.
