Ex-Trojan Dart will play at Mississipp­i

Former USC quarterbac­k Jaxson Dart is headed to Mississipp­i next season, he told ESPN on Saturday.

Dart, who entered the transfer portal on Jan. 10, picked the Rebels, coached by Lane Kiffin, over Oklahoma and Brigham Young — two other schools he reportedly visited.

Dart threw for 1,353 yards with nine touchdowns, five intercepti­ons and a 61.9% completion rate last season.

Former USC tight end Michael Trigg also told ESPN that he will transfer to Mississipp­i.

A person with knowledge of the process said the Minnesota Vikings and Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh had explorator­y conversati­ons about the NFL team’s coaching vacancy and both sides are gauging interest, according to the Associated Press.

A message seeking comment was left with Harbaugh.

Harbaugh is 61-24 over seven seasons with the Wolverines after he went 44-19-1 as San Francisco 49ers coach from 2011 to 2014.
