-

Elizabeth Jean Hazelton of West Hills, CA passed away on August 2nd, 2022 at the age of 52. Beth was born on March 9, 1970 to Carole Lynn Hall Kennedy and William Stephen Kennedy, MD in Alamagordo, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband Willard “Bill” Hazelton and their 3 daughters: Marlee Jean, Grace Anne and Mackenzie Lynn Hazelton, brothers Stephen Kennedy (Jen), Peter Kennedy (Nichole), nieces Emily and Sarah Kennedy and mother Carole Kennedy. Beth is preceded in death by her father William.

Beth was a lifelong resident of California, raised in Fresno, CA and graduated from UCSB in 1994 before settling in West Hills, CA in 1996.

Beth worked as a contract analyst at Amgen for 17 years before pursuing her dream career as a life, health and wellness coach. She had a deep impact in helping people transform their lives by helping to create new habits and mindset changes to build a life around what mattered most to us. She was a passionate yoga instructor and meditation teacher for more than 11 years and was actively involved with the local business community and non-profit organizations in the greater Los Angeles area, including the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce.

Beth loved music, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, traveling, being near the ocean and fussing tirelessly over her brood of feline friends. Most of all, she loved being a Mom to her 3 daughters and being engaged with all of their various school, volleyball and extracurricular activities.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony (to be announced at a later date.)

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Beth’s honor to one of the following: 1) gofund.me/342db3dc 2) ocrahope.org 3) lanaicatsanctuary.org
