A London Whodunit

Sam Rockwell, 53, and Saoirse Ronan, 28, team up as Inspector Stoppard and Constable Stalker in the comedic murder mystery See How They Run (in select theaters Sept. 16). Set in 1950s London, it revolves around the murder of a Hollywood moviemaker in the middle of a major production, which brings the two sleuths into a puzzling whodunit aswirl with glamour. “It’s a pretty zany plot with some poignant moments,” says Rockwell, who describes Stoppard as “a drunk, sexist inspector from Scotland Yard. He’s sort of a tragic, dark character in a comic arena.”
