Stormy in the mid-Atlantic region: Heavy rain and gusty winds will continue in parts of the Mid-Atlantic states as low pressure develops over the Atlantic. Heat will approach daily records in the Pacific Northwest, but snow could fall in the highest elevations of the Rockies.
