Red Bull racing team owner dies

Austrian billionair­e Dietrich Mateschitz, the cofounder of energy drink company Red Bull and founder and owner of the Red Bull Formula One racing team, has died. He was 78.

Red Bull team officials at the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, announced the death of Mateschitz, who built a sports, media, real estate and gastronomy empire.
