MONDAY
“Inside Man” (Netflix): A death row inmate (Stanley Tucci) helps solve a missing persons case across the pond in this six-part thriller.
2022 World Series (Fox, 5 p.m.; also Tue.; and Wed., Fri. and Sat., if necessary): Baseball’s fall classic continues.
TUESDAY
“Finding Your Roots” (KOCE, 9 p.m.): Broadway’s Raúl Esparza and restaurateur David Chang explore their family histories.
“Below Deck Adventure” (Bravo, 9 p.m.): If you have to ask, you can’t afford (a fjord?) it in this luxe visit to Scandinavia.
“Frontline” (KOCE, 10 p.m.): “Putin’s War at Home” examines the resistance the Russian leader is facing in his own country over his actions in Ukraine.
WEDNESDAY
“Nature” (KOCE, 8 p.m.): A bird in the hand is worth two in the tree in the new episode “Woodpeckers: The Hole Story.”
“Nova” (KOCE, 9 p.m.): Who created those ancient geoglyphs in Peru? Find out in the episode “Nazca Desert Mystery.”
“Secrets of the Dead” (KOCE, 10 p.m.): It’s hard to tell the Eye of Ra from the Eye of Horus in “Decoding Hieroglyphics.”
THURSDAY
“Blockbuster” (Netflix): Streaming killed the video store — almost — in this new workplace comedy. With Randall Park. “The Really Loud House” (Nickelodeon, 7 p.m.): No one uses their inside voice in this new live-action sitcom.
FRIDAY
“Causeway” (Apple TV+): Jennifer Lawrence plays a former soldier suffering from a traumatic brain injury in this 2022 drama.
“Manifest” (Netflix): This mystery drama returns from cancellation for a final season.
“Weird: The Al Yankovic Story” (Roku): “Harry Potter’s” Daniel Radcliffe portrays the musical parodist in this satirical 2022 biopic.
“Lopez vs. Lopez” (NBC, 8 p.m.): George Lopez gets his daughter Mayan Lopez into the act in this new family sitcom.
“A Magical Christmas Village” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.): Marlo Thomas and Alison Sweeney star in this new holiday tale.
“Great Performances” (KOCE, 9 p.m.): The New York Philharmonic moves back into its refurbished digs with a concert that includes Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy.”
SATURDAY
“Musical Matinee”
(TCM, 9 a.m.): This new series spotlighting classic musicals kicks off with “An American in Paris.”
“Lights, Camera, Christmas!” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.): A shop owner meets a hunky actor who’s in town to shoot a rom-com in this new TV movie.
“Merry Swissmas”
(Lifetime, 8 p.m.): An architect (Jodie Sweetin) meets a hunky single dad in Switzerland in this new TV movie.
