Shooting injures three in Hawthorne

Police are searching for people involved in a shooting Friday night in Hawthorne that injured three.

Officers responded to a report of 10 gunshots near Rosecrans and Yukon avenues about 10:40 p.m., police said.

Three gunshot victims were taken to a hospital; all are expected to survive.

The shooting is believed to have been connected to a large gathering in the area and may involve multiple suspects, police said.

Video from ABC-7 shows a man on a gurney being wheeled out of a 7-Eleven not far from the intersection.

Several blocks in Hawthorne were closed off with caution tape.
