TCU hands No. 25 Iowa its first loss
Micah Peavy scored 16 points and Mike Miles Jr. added 15 in his second game back from an injury to lead Texas Christian over No. 25 Iowa, 79-66, in Niceville, Fla. on Saturday.
The Horned Frogs (5-1) broke open what had been a close battle up until about three minutes into the second half, when TCU went on a 13-4 run to grab a 58-43 lead over Iowa (5-1).

Marcus Sasser scored 19 points and J’Wan Roberts added 11 points, and the Cougars (6-0) beat the Golden Flashes (5-2) to give themselves a chance to take over the No. 1 ranking. No. 1 North Carolina and No. 3 Kansas lost this week.

Caitlin Bickle scored the last five points of the game, finishing with 18 and 12 rebounds, as the Bears (5-1) edged the Wildcats (5-1) in Estero, Fla.
