It’s Bedlam after Sooners fall to Oklahoma State

Ollie Gordon II ran for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 22 Oklahoma State defeated No. 9 Oklahoma 2724 on Saturday in the last Bedlam rivalry game before Oklahoma leaves the Big 12 for the Southeaste­rn Conference next year.

Gordon, who entered as the nation’s leading rusher, had a career-high 33 carries. It was his sixth straight game rushing for at least 100 yards. The game was about more than bragging rights — both teams started the day as part of a five-way tie for the conference lead.

Alan Bowman passed for 334 yards and Rashod Owens had career highs of 10 catches for 136 yards for the host Cowboys (7-2, 5-1).

No. 1 Ohio State 35, at Rutgers 16:

Cornerback Jordan Hancock woke up the Buckeyes (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) early in the second half with a 93-yard intercepti­on return for a touchdown, and they rallied from their first halftime deficit this season.

at No. 2 Georgia 30, No. 12 Missouri 21:

Defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse’s fourth-quarter intercepti­on helped protect Georgia’s lead and the Bulldogs (9-0, 6-0 SEC) beat the Tigers (7-2, 3-2) for their 26th win in a row. All-American linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson fractured his left forearm and is out indefinite­ly.

at No. 3 Michigan 41, Purdue 13:

Blake Corum matched his season high with three touchdowns, leading the Wolverines (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) to another rout.

No. 4 Florida State 24, at Pittsburgh 7:

Jordan Travis ran for a touchdown and threw for another and the Seminoles (9-0, 7-0) clinched a spot in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game.

at No. 6 Oregon 63, California 19:

Bo Nix threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns and ran for two scores, and the Ducks (8-1, 4-1 Pac-12) stayed perfect at Autzen Stadium. Tez Johnson caught 12 passes for 180 yards and two scores. California running back Jaivian Thomas was carted off.

at No. 7 Texas 33, No. 23 Kansas State 30 (OT):

Bert Auburn kicked a 42-yard field goal in overtime, and the Longhorns’ defense got a key stop on fourth down to earn a win in a matchup of Big 12 co-leaders.

at No. 8 Alabama 42, No. 14 Louisiana State 28:

Jalen Milroe rushed for 155 yards and four scores and passed for 219 yards to lead the Crimson Tide (8-1, 6-0 SEC).

at No. 10 Mississipp­i 38, Texas A&M 35:

Quinshon Judkins ran for three touchdowns, including the winner from a yard out with 1:40 remaining, and the Rebels (8-1, 5-1 SEC) rallied.

No. 11 Penn State 51, at Maryland 15:

Drew Allar threw three of his four touchdown passes in the first half, and the Nittany Lions (8-1, 5-1, Big Ten) easily handled the Terrapins (5-4, 2-4).

at Clemson 31, No. 15 Notre Dame 23:

Phil Mafah ran for a career-high 186 yards and two touchdowns in relief of the injured Will Shipley, and the Tigers held off the Irish to end a two-game skid.

at No. 13 Louisville 34, Virginia Tech 3:

Isaac Guerendo rushed for career highs of 146 yards and three touchdowns, and the Cardinals (8-1, 5-1 ACC) shut down the Hokies (4-5, 3-2).

at No. 18 Utah 55, Arizona State 3:

Bryson Barnes passed for 161 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, and Ja’Quinden Jackson rushed for 111 yards to lead the Utes (7-2, 4-2 Pac-12).

at No. 17 Tennessee 59, Connecticu­t 3:

Joe Milton, Jr. passed for 254 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, all in the first half, and the Volunteers (7-2) had three defensive touchdowns for the first time.

No. 21 Kansas 28, at Iowa 21:

Jason Bean passed for 287 yards, including an 80yard touchdown to Lawrence Arnold after Iowa State pulled within three points in the fourth quarter.

No. 24 Tulane 13, at East Carolina 10:

Michael Pratt threw a short touchdown pass to Lawrence Keys III to lift the Green Wave (8-1, 5-0 American Athletic).

Army 23, at No. 25 Air Force 3:

In Denver, quarterbac­k Bryson Daily ran for 170 yards and two touchdowns, Army’s swarming defense forced six turnovers, and the Black Knights (3-6) knocked the Falcons (8-1) from the ranks of the undefeated.
