Jamie Molever — Eric Greenspan
Eric Greenspan knew Jamie Molever was his soul mate when she ate bone marrow on their first date at Mozza. “She was willing to try almost anything I ordered,” Greenspan, 37, said. “But more importantly I was captivated by the conversation. It was an odd feeling; turns out it was love.”
A mutual friend introduced the couple in 2009 at Greenspan’s restaurant, The Foundry on Melrose, in Hollywood, where they also got engaged. Greenspan, who is on the current season of “The Next Iron Chef: Redemption,” proposed after his Food Network-televised battle with Bobby Flay to win “Iron Chef America” aired on Molever’s 27th birthday. The couple was celebrating with a private party.
“After he won, Eric called me up to the microphone to sing happy birthday. Next thing I knew, he was down on one knee,” Molever, 28, said. “It was incredible and the beginning of a wonderful wedding.”
They were married on May 5 at the Cree Estate in Palm Springs with 300 guests attending the weekend-long destination wedding.
“My absolute favorite memory is walking down the aisle with my parents. I was walking into the sun, and all I remember seeing was light and a sea of white rose petals, then eventually my groom standing at the chuppah,” Molever said.
