Ireland scored the first four LMU points in the extra session before Taylor Walker’s free throw gave the Lions a 61-57 lead with nine seconds left. Cole Dickerson had 23 points and 18 rebounds for the Dons (14-16). Godwin Okonji had 14 points and 10 rebounds for LMU, which entered the tournament on a 14-game losing streak before beating eighth-seeded Portland on Wednesday. No. 6 San Diego 62, No. 7 Pepperdine 59: Johnny Dee had 16 points to lead the Toreros over the Waves in the West Coast Conference tournament in Las Vegas.
