DEATH VALLEY DUNES AT DAWN

-

Muralidharan Vasudevan visited Death Valley National Park in April with his wife, Jayanthi, in the foreground, and daughter, Amita, in the background. Long fascinated by the sight of sand dunes at dusk and dawn, he and his family stayed overnight at the Stovepipe Wells hotel inside the park in order to climb the dunes in the early morning. The Cerritos resident used an iPhone 5 to capture this moment, photographed at 7 a.m.
