Cobbs and Cal stun No. 1 Arizona, 60-58

Justin Cobbs made a step-back jump shot with 0.9 of a second left and host California stunned No. 1 Arizona, 60-58, on Saturday night.

Gabe York’s full-court pass was knocked down to give the Golden Bears (15-7 overall, 6-3 Pac-12 Conference) their first victory over a top-ranked opponent since Jan. 30, 1994, when they beat UCLA, 85-70.

Arizona (21-1, 8-1) was one of only three unbeaten teams left in Division I. Now only No. 2 Syracuse (21-0) and No. 4 Wichita State (23-0) remain.

at Stanford 76, Arizona State 70: Dwight Powell matched his season high with 28 points to help the Cardinal (14-7, 5-4) prevail.

Jahii Carson scored 24 points to lead the Sun Devils (16-6, 5-4), who had their winning streak ended at three games. Jermaine Marshall had 22 points.

at Colorado 79, Utah 75 (OT): Xavier Talton scored five points in overtime, including a go-ahead threepoint basket to lead the Buffaloes (16-6, 5-4).

Delon Wright and Brandon Taylor each scored 17 points for the Utes (14-7, 3-6).

at Washington State 72, Washington 67: D.J. Shelton had 20 points and 18 rebounds to help the Cougars (9-12, 2-7) end a losing streak at four games.

C.J. Wilcox scored 24 points for Washington (13-9, 5-4), which had beaten the Cougars six times in a row.
