AT THE PLATE: Jimmy Rollins, Scott Van Slyke and Enrique Hernandez had two hits each, with Van Slyke slugging his first homer of the Cactus League season. For Rollins, the two hits raised his spring average to .368, while the two hits for Hernandez were one more than he had in 20 at-bats coming in. “I’m exhausted, dude,” Hernandez, who also scored a run, said afterward. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on base.” Joc Pederson went one for two and is batting .429, but he also committed an error in center field. Matt Carson, who played for Cleveland last year, added an eighth-inning grand slam.

ON THE MOUND: Brett Anderson turned in his second scoreless outing, striking out two in three innings. David Aardsma, Paco Rodriguez and Pedro Baez pitched one scoreless inning each and have yet to give up a run. J.P. Howell, coming back from a groin strain, retired all three batters he faced.

EXTRA BASES: The Dodgers reassigned four pitchers, including 18-year-old left-hander Julio Urias, to minor league camp. Also sent down were right-handers Chris Anderson and Josh Ravin and left-hander Ryan Buchter. . . . Yasiel Puig was scratched from Sunday’s lineup and sent home with stomach sickness. . . . Reliever Brandon League, held out of Friday’s game with lingering shoulder soreness, is expected to resume throwing Sunday. . . . Left-hander Erik Bedard, a nonroster invitee who has pitched just four Cactus League innings this spring, threw four more in a simulated game on a back field Saturday. He is expected to make the split-squad trip to San Antonio this week.
