Visiting the Rose Bowl

With a sellout crowd of more than 85,000 expected at Tuesday’s game between Barcelona and the Galaxy at the Rose Bowl, organizers are urging fans to arrive early.

Parking lots will open at 2 p. m. and the Rose Bowl is offering incentives for fans who drive, cutting parking fees by 50%— to $ 15— for those who arrive before 5 p. m. Cars carrying four or more fans can also park for $ 15 all day.

Free shuttle bus rides along a dedicated route will be available from Parsons Corp. in Old Pasadena. Parking is available at Parsons’ lot at Fair Oaks Avenue and Walnut Street as well as in surroundin­g lots throughout Old Pasadena. Fans taking the Metro Gold Line to the Memorial Park station can also take the shuttle by following signs to the loading area two blocks away. Shuttles will run before, during and after the match, starting at 3 p. m.
