USC’s De Grasse wins Pan Am 100
Canada’s Andre De Grasse sprinted to gold in the men’s 100-meter final of the Pan American Games at Toronto. The 20-year-old from USC had a time of 10.05 seconds in front of a packed stadium of his hometown fans.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin won a silver medal in the long jump at the Pan Am Games, leaping 27 feet 13⁄4 inches. Fellow American Jeffery Henderson won the event at 28 feet inch.

Sang-Moon Bae plans to play the rest of the PGA Tour season before submitting to his mandatory military service in South Korea. The 29-yearold Bae is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, including the seasonopening Frys.com Open in October.
