Houthis routed from key city

-

Yemeni troops and militias, backed by the Saudi-led coalition, seized full control of the strategic port city of Aden after repelling Shiite Muslim rebels, known as Houthis, from their last holdout, the military said.

The battle for Aden has been the center of the conflict for several weeks.

More than 1,690 civilians have been killed since late March, according to the U.N.
