The body of a woman who disappeared Sept. 4 after a heated argument with her boyfriend’s brother over money was found on a hillside in Pomona, coroner’s investigators said Friday.

Sally Mityas, 33, a mother of three young children, died of a sharp force injury to her chest, said L.A. County Coroner’s Lt. David Smith.

Her body was found Monday in a field in the 1700 block of Gillette Road.

Police said they are looking for her boyfriend’s brother, Tomas Sarinana, in connection with her death.

After Mityas’ boyfriend reported her missing, Tomas Sarinana told police that he and Mityas had argued over money and that she left her home in the 1600 block of Briar Avenue in Ontario, leaving behind her car, a cellphone and her three children, ages 1, 5 and 7.

Police launched an investigation immediately, calling her disappearance unusual.
