Our Financial Success Begins with Empowerment
Latinos have undoubtedly helped shape the U.S. in positive and profound ways. What better time to look ahead and recognize this continued influence on modern culture and our economy than Hispanic Heritage Month?
In 2014, Latinos passed Caucasians as the largest ethnic group in California, yet the Hispanic community is still widely under-represented in the work- force—particularly in financial services.
With this growth comes the responsibility of companies to create a talent pipeline with the cultural background and multilingual skills necessary to meet the needs of Latino clients.
Foundations for finance
Partnerships with organizations such as NCLR (National Council of La Raza) help us address the specific needs of Latinos, and promote suc- cess in the financial services industry. Through collaboration with NCLR and the Latino community, companies can support the mission of enhancing and promoting diversity and inclusion. Hispanic Heritage Month may only be celebrated for 30 days, but our commitment to helping Latinos succeed financially will continue year-round. ■
