Denver: Linebacker DeMarcus Ware is coming off his first defensive-player-of-themonth honor of an 11-year NFL career. Vikings lead in series, 7-6.

Kansas City: The Chiefs’ offensive line has allowed Alex Smith to be sacked a league-high 14 times. Cornerback Sean Smith will return from a three-game suspension.

Miami: The Dolphins have just one sack through three games. Miami has not rushed for a touchdown and has been outscored in the first quarter, 27-3.

New England: The Patriots average 3.7-yards per carry and 87-yards per game primarily between backs Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount.

N.Y. Jets: Receiver Brandon Marshall has a touchdown catch in each game. Quarterbac­k Ryan Fitzpatric­k is tied for second-most intercepti­ons (five).

Oakland: Sebastian Janikowski figures to tie Tim Brown for first on Raiders’ games played list with 240. Amari Cooper leads all rookies with 290 receiving yards.

Pittsburgh: Josh Scobee missed two kicks in the Steelers’ loss to the Ravens, 23-20, in overtime. He has missed four total and an extra-point attempt.

San Diego: Chargers are tied with Detroit for the most turnovers (eight). Tight end Antonio Gates will return from his four-game suspension next week.

Tennessee: Running back Dexter McCluster is averaging 37.7 rushing yards and 20.3 receiving yards per game. Kendall Wright leads Titans with 13 catches for 213 yards.
