SeaWorld sues coastal agency

SeaWorld San Diego followed through on its promise to sue the California Coastal Commission for approving a new orca enclosure, but only if the park stops breeding its killer whales. The Superior Court action alleges the panel does not have the authority to impose such a condition. The clause would eventually lead to the end of the park’s killer whale shows, its most popular attraction.
