Karl ties Jackson with 1,155th victory

Sacramento Coach George Karl moved into a tie for f ifth on the NBA wins list Saturday, catching former Lakers coach Phil Jackson with his 1,155th career victory as the Kings rolled to a 142- 119 blowout of the visiting Phoenix Suns, who suffered their eighth straight loss.

Karl, 63, is 1,155- 795 in 27 seasons. DeMarcus Cousins had 32 points and nine rebounds for the Kings.

Tim Duncan was scoreless for the f irst time in his career.

at Cleveland 104, Orlando 79: LeBron James scored 29 points for the Cavaliers, who led by as many as 31 points en route to beating the Magic for the 13th straight time. at Utah 92, Memphis 87 ( OT): Rodney Hood scored four of his career- high 32 points in overtime to lift the Jazz.

New Orleans 105, at Dallas 98: Anthony Davis’ 31 points and 14 rebounds led the Pelicans to only their fourth road win this season.

at Indiana 94, Detroit 82: Paul George scored 21 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Pacers in a game that ended with a brief scuffle among several players at midcourt after the final buzzer.

Brooklyn 100, at Boston 97: Brook Lopez scored a season- high 30 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, helping the Nets win for just the third time in 11 games. Milwaukee 95, at Minnesota 85: Greg Monroe scored 19 points, and the Bucks overcame O. J. Mayo’s wild ejection to beat the Timberwolv­es. Mayo was forcibly removed from the court by coaches and security staff after he picked up two technical fouls in the first quarter.
