Robert DeKruif: In the Jan. 5 California section, the obituary of banking executive Robert DeKruif misspelled the last name of his daughter Debra Seesemann as Seesman.

Los Angeles River: In the Jan. 7 Section A, an article about the Los Angeles River erroneously referred to the Spring Street bridge as the Second Street bridge. The article also implied a comparison between peak water flows of the Los Angeles River and the Colorado River. The comparison is between the peak flow of the L.A. River and the normal flow of the Colorado.
