Dunbar to leave A+ D museum
The A+ D Architecture and Design Museum of Los Angeles has announced the Feb. 1 departure of its executive director and the launch of a search to replace her. Tibbie Dunbar is leaving A+ D after a nearly 12year tenure that included some noted exhibitions, such as “Never Built: Los Angeles,” a look at decades of design ideas that never got past the drawing board. Dunbar is leaving for a position outside of the museum community, an A+ D spokeswoman said.
