Ever waited out a snowstorm under a sequoia in Yosemite National Park? Or fallen asleep to the howls of wolves in Yellowston­e? As the National Park Service turns 100 this year, we are seeking your favorite park-related memories. Your recollecti­ons will be included in our coverage of this important celebratio­n of some of the world’s most amazing destinatio­ns. National parks and monuments, preserves, recreation areas and other NPS units are all in play. Please keep submission­s to 100 words or less, and include your name, city of residence and a photo, if you have one. Send to travel@latimes.com, with “Park Memory” in the subject line.
