Have a memorable park outing to share?
Ever waited out a snowstorm under a sequoia in Yosemite National Park? Or fallen asleep to the howls of wolves in Yellowstone? As the National Park Service turns 100 this year, we are seeking your favorite park-related memories. Your recollections will be included in our coverage of this important celebration of some of the world’s most amazing destinations. National parks and monuments, preserves, recreation areas and other NPS units are all in play. Please keep submissions to 100 words or less, and include your name, city of residence and a photo, if you have one. Send to travel@latimes.com, with “Park Memory” in the subject line. The photo may not be more than 10MB. You can also upload it to Flicker at www.flickr.com/groups/latimestravel or use the hashtag #MyParkMemory on Instagram and Twitter.
