Roswell, N.M., has long been a hub of alien (tourist) activity thanks to an infamous alleged 1947 UFO crash. The International UFO Museum and Research Center includes a diorama of extraterrestrials and a film of the “official” autopsy of the aliens from the crash.

Area 51—the famed U.S. Air Force Base believed to be filled with experimental aircraft and possible alien secrets—is the most famous “secret” facility in the country. While you can’t visit the base, you can travel to its site in the Nevada desert via the Nevada Extraterrestrial Highway.
