Coachella for keeps
Somewhere between the strewn petals of the f lower crowns and the strings of the factory- ripped denim short- shorts, Coachella style became a punchline, a comment better served with side- eye than an actual endorsement.
Now leave those feelings in the past. This year’s festival style deserves a fresh take on freewheeling desert fun — with a fair dose of sophistication. So go beyond the usual pieces, the feathers and the American f lagsturned-into- outfits, and please, please, please, skip the body paint for your Coachella adventure.
Instead, turn your fashion gaze to luxe textured pieces with a casual edge — where comfort reigns supreme and every piece has a life beyond the festival whether for a night out or a spin class later.
