Parker leads Sparks to fourth win in a row

Candace Parker scored 17 of her 26 points in the first half and the Sparks improved to 4-0 with a victory over the Sky at Chicago.

Nneka Ogwumike had 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists and Jantel Lavender scored 16 on sevenof-nine shooting for the Sparks. Kristi Toliver had 11 points and 10 assists and the Sparks finished with 27 assists on 30 field goals.

Brian Elliott will start in goal for the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Wednesday in San Jose.

Elliott started the first 17 games of the playoffs before giving way to Jake Allen in Game 4 against the Sharks. The Blues won that game, but lost, 6-3, in Game 5 to fall into a 3-2 hole in the series.

Washington will play defending national champion Stanford in the title match Wednesday.
