Suspect charged in terrorist plot
A man in Belgium has been charged with attempting to commit “terrorist murders” and participating in a terrorist group, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office announced.
The office said the 33year-old man, identified only as Nourredine H., and his brother Hamza H. were taken in for questioning on suspicion of plotting a terror attack following police searches Friday evening at seven houses in the city of Liege and the Mons region. Hamza H. was released without charge.
