GETTING A GARGOYLE’S EYE VIEW OF PARIS
Melissa Dundas went to Europe in June for two weeks with one of her college roommates. She visited London; Edinburgh, Scotland; Barcelona, Spain; and Paris, where they spent an early morning waiting for the Notre Dame Cathedral to open. They eventually climbed its 387 steps to the top, about a 20-minute hike, where they were greeted by an amazing view. The Pasadena resident said it was worth the climb. Dundas took the photo with an iPhone 6s.
