Etling rolled to his right and found D.J. Shark on a 15-yard pass, setting off a celebratio­n by LSU players. Officials ruled time expired before Etling took the snap. at Kentucky 17, South Carolina 10: Benny Snell Jr. scored the go-ahead touchdown from one yard midway through the fourth quarter, Boom Williams broke a 43-yard touchdown and the Wildcats held off the Gamecocks for their third straight series victory over South Carolina.

Vanderbilt 31, at Western Kentucky 30 (OT): The Commodores’ defense turned away a two-point conversion play at the end of the first overtime as Vanderbilt escaped with a victory over the Hilltopper­s. Kyle Shurmur’s fiveyard pass to Nathan Marcus on the first possession of overtime gave Vanderbilt its first lead of the game, and Tommy Openshaw added the point after for the Commodores. Mississipp­i State 47, at Massachuse­tts 35: Aeris Williams ran for a 16-yard touchdown and Jamoral Graham returned an intercepti­on 38 yards for a score on the next play from scrimmage to help the Bulldogs erase a third-quarter deficit and beat the Minutemen. at Missouri 79, Delaware State 0: Drew Lock threw a school record-tying five touchdown passes, and the Tigers shattered their school scoring record. The previous mark of 69 points occurred three times, most recently on Sept. 17, 2011, when the Tigers shut out Western Illinois.
