OBSTACLE COURSE IN WHITE
People make their way through Manhattan streets after the biggest storm to hit the Northeast this winter dumped a foot or more of snow along the New York-to-Boston corridor Thursday. The storm gave millions of people a weather whiplash, coming a day after temperatures soared into the 50s and 60s. More than 3,500 f lights were canceled across the region. Schools closed in cities including New York, Philadelphia and Boston. A doorman in New York died after falling down a set of stairs and crashing through a plate-glass window while shoveling snow, police said.
