A welcome from the Mayor of the City of Ensenada

Dear racers and friends, Here we are, 70 years later, celebrating life, the ocean and wind. Thank you, NOSA, for this amazing race. What a fortune! As the City of Ensenada’s mayor, I want to welcome you to shore. Please enjoy and feel at home. I invite you to live our nightlife, eat our amazing Baja food, experience our wine country, adventure in our coastline, and enjoy the many activities that our county wants to offer you. Feel safe and cared for. Our people will always be there to answer your questions and offer you help. Our whole service industry has been preparing for your visit, and if there is a situation in which you need our help, we have prepared tourist assistance offices located on the Boulevard Costero, as well as two 24-hour numbers you can dial at any time, 078 and 076. In the case of an emergency, we also have 911 available. We want to be there for you. I have always lived my life close to the ocean and the Ensenada coastline. I remember vividly the Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race while I was growing up in my beloved town. For us, you are all winners. You made it to our city!
