Only thing MIA: sharks

After I returned from a vacation on Isla Holbox, one of my co-workers told me about Christopher Reynolds’ article [“This Way to Relaxation,” April 2] that had appeared the Sunday we were on the Mexican island. I just read the article, which captured the essence of the island.

We were too early for the whale shark adventure, but we may return some day to experience this.

We had a lovely time, stayed at Casa las Tortugas, ate many meals in its restaurant and also at Milpa; my husband had the octopus. All in all, a lovely trip. LINDA LAMAR
