1 He’s fluent in French from his time as an exchange student in Aix-en-Provence.

2 While in high school at Germantown Academy, he worked at the Philadelph­ia Daily News.

3 Before he chose an acting career, he wanted to move to Japan to become a ninja.

4 He worked as a doorman at New York City’s Morgans Hotel while studying acting.

5 For American Sniper, Cooper trained with U.S. Navy SEAL veteran Kevin Lacz, who served with Chris Kyle, whom Cooper played in the film.
