Your wish is granted. In her new movie, The Circle, currently in theaters, she plays Mae, a recent college grad who quickly climbs the corporate ladder at a powerful tech and social media company. But the higher she gets, the more Mae begins to question her employer’s troubling policies on privacy and surveillance. Watson, 27, says the role made her look at her own use of social media. “We have to make sure it is useful to us and not something that owns us,” says the actress.
