Sting’s NYC digs cost a field of gold

Changing their day-to-day reality
Some celebs just seem to move around every couple of years. Among them are television personality and producer Jack Osbourne and his wife, Lisa. The pair recently put their traditional home in Studio City on the market for $3.449 million.
The New England-inspired spread, built in 2014, sits behind gates on more than a quarter-acre of grounds. Long on curb appeal, the two-story features horizontal and shake siding, white trim and a covered porch near the front door. Sets of arched windows line the front of the house, adding to the East Coast vibe.

He and his wife bought the house three years ago for $3.2 million, records show.

A Valley home for leader of the pack
Cesar Millan of “Dog Whisperer” fame has found a new place to sit and stay in the San Fernando Valley, buying a home in a leafy Encino neighborhood for about $2.783 million.
His new house, built last year, combines elements of the East Coast-inspired traditional and farmhouse styles with white board-and-batten siding and deep eaves.
Within the 5,400 square feet of open-plan space are a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a center-island kitchen, a den and an office. A pass-through connects the kitchen and dining room areas. Tucked beneath the staircase is a temperature-controlled wine room.
In the master suite, a freestanding two-way fireplace sits between the bedroom and a sitting room. There are five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in all.
A saltwater swimming pool, a built-in barbecue, lawns and landscaping fill out the backyard, which may by now be filled with dogs too.
The listing agent was Jodie Francisco of Dilbeck Real Estate. Lisa Gaber of L.A. Property Investment represented Millan, who made the purchase through a family trust, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
Millan, 47, gained fame as the self-taught dog-training star of the television series “Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan.” He currently hosts and produces the Nat Geo Wild series “Cesar Millan’s Dog Nation” with son Andre.
Soccer player kicks back in Encino

Jermaine Jones has put his place to kick it in Encino on the market at $4.495 million.
Jones bought the gated Mediterranean estate from reality show stars Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott in 2011 for $2.5 million. If the place looks familiar, that’s because it was regularly featured on “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” (2007-11).
Today, bold colors, wallpaper and murals enliven the living spaces. A cabana with a bar/ kitchen and bathroom was added in the backyard and sits at the end of the swimming pool.
Included in the more than 6,700 square feet of interior space are a center-island kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. The great room is lined with French doors that lead to a covered patio and the third of an acre of grounds.
Jones, 35, joined the Galaxy this year after three seasons in Major League Soccer with the Colorado Rapids and the New England Revolution. He has been a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team since 2010.
