Exodus at the mall

Between 20% and 25% of the nation’s shopping malls will close over the next f ive years, says a new report issued by Credit Suisse. The report predicts that e-commerce will continue to pull shoppers away from bricks-andmortar retailers. Traditional mall anchor stores, such as Macy’s, J.C. Penney and Sears, have announced numerous closings in recent months.
