‘Ladyboss’

-

Re “Tidings of comfort, joy and sexism,” Opinion, Dec. 24

The older gentleman in this article who was reported to have said he was glad to have never had a “ladyboss” was not telling the truth.

Who does he think were his early bosses? His mom toilet trained him; his mom helped him to walk; his mom negotiated his nap time and arranged his play dates. His preschool teachers, his grade school teachers and his high school teachers most likely were women.

He would never consider them bosses, because they were so good they were called teachers and his mother. Donna Handy
