DEAD WHALE FOUND
Scientists examine a whale corpse found near a shipping lane at the Port of Long Beach. The animal appeared to be a fin whale, experts said. The U.S. Coast Guard and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will investigate the cause of death.
