Stanford’s Chryst to transfer

Stanford quarterbac­k Keller Chryst plans to transfer for his final season of eligibilit­y.

Chryst, who’s immediatel­y eligible as a graduate transfer, began last season as the starter before being replaced by K.J. Costello midway through.

Chryst has played 23 games in three seasons. He has completed 55.2% of his passes for 1,901 yards, 19 touchdowns and six intercepti­ons.

Utah defensive back Casey Hughes is headed to Michigan as a graduate transfer . ... Miami sophomore cornerback Malek Young will have careerendi­ng neck surgery to fix an injury he suffered in the Orange Bowl . ... The Heisman Trophy won by Rashaan Salaam in 1994 was sold for $399,608.
