A chef chats with Jonathan Gold

CUT BY WOLFGANG PUCK Cut by Wolfgang Puck at the Beverly Wilshire will host a luncheon to honor and celebrate the accomplish­ments of women in the industry. The goal is to share — through food, drink, humor and meaningful conversati­on — the inspiring stories and diverse experience­s of women in the food, beverage and hospitalit­y industries and to get a glimpse of what’s to come. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to support the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center. Los Angeles Times Food Editor Amy Scattergoo­d will host a panel with Ellen Bennett, Nadine Redzepi and others, which will be followed by a luncheon hosted by the Cut Beverly Hills all-female leadership team: Hilary Henderson (chef de cuisine), Ellen Farentino (general manager), Megan Vaughan (executive sous chef) and Angela Tong (pastry chef). “I would like for other women to see us working together, and succeeding, and know that if we can do it, they can do it too.” — Hilary Henderson, chef de cuisine, Cut Beverly Hills.
