chicharron­es. He was named a Food & Wine "Best New Chef" in 2015, and his Costa Mesa restaurant is always near the top of Jonathan Gold's 101 Best Restaurant­s list. His co-host, Gabriela Cámara, known for her Mexico City restaurant­s MeroToro and Contramar, opened Cala — a restaurant that is helping to redefine Mexican food in the Bay Area — in San Francisco — in 2015.
