Kimpton Everly hotel beverage director Dan Rook has brought a culinary edge to L.A.’s cocktail scene, with creative drinks employing ingredient­s such as gai-lan broccoli, mushrooms, bananas, arugula and even duck bone broth. Rook, along with innovators such as Little Dom’s Cameron Dodge-White and Jeremy Lake, Culinary Lab’s corporate spirits manager, will host a ticketed cocktail demo at the Everly’s Skyline Pool deck, offering instructio­ns on how to make your own cocktail shrubs, amaros and bitters at home.
