Missing USC graduate student found and reunited with family
22-year-old man last seen near downtown Sunday afternoon is at a hospital, police say.
A USC graduate student who had been missing since Sunday afternoon was found and reunited with his family Friday morning, according to authorities.
Bo John Jones, 22, is at a hospital, said Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Tony Im.
There were no details available on his condition or how he ended up in the hospital.
Jones was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Sunday near downtown Los Angeles, police said.
Jones’ father, James Jones, told KABC-TV that his son had left his wallet, identification and car at his Westlake apartment Sunday.
James Jones said he had received a notification from a location app on his son’s cellphone that it was at a mobile phone store where someone was trying to “crack into it.”
A woman at the store said she found the phone at a playground in MacArthur Park on Tuesday.
