Boston College picks up a rare win over Miami

AJ Dillon carried 32 times for 149 yards and a touchdown, Anthony Brown threw for a score and ran for another and Boston College defeated Miami 27-14 on Friday night at Boston.

It was only the fourth victory for Boston College (6-2, 3-1 ACC) in its last 22 meetings against Miami (5-3, 2-2). The Eagles have six wins in October for the first time since 2009.

at Minnesota 38, Indiana 31: Tanner Morgan passed for 302 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start, including the tiebreakin­g 67-yard scoring toss to Rashod Bateman with 1:34 remaining after Indiana rallied with 22 straight fourth-quarter points.

Morgan, a redshirt freshman who replaced injured Zack Annexstad, completed 17 of 24 attempts for the Gophers (4-4, 1-4 Big Ten).

Peyton Ramsey completed 29 for 44 for 232 yards, two scores and two intercepti­ons for the Hoosiers (4-5, 1-5).

Louisiana Tech 21, at Florida Atlantic 13: J'Mar Smith threw for 217 yards and a touchdown and Louisiana Tech ended the Owls' 10-game home winning streak.

Louisiana Tech (6-2, 4-1 Conference USA) is bowl eligible for the fifth straight season. Defensive end Jaylon Ferguson broke the CUSA career sack record in the first half with his 38th.

Devin Singletary rushed for 171 yards and a touchdown in 19 carries for Florida Atlantic (3-5, 1-3).

Wyoming 34, at Colorado State 21: Nico Evans rushed for 176 yards and touchdown as the Cowboys picked up their first Mountain West Conference win. Wyoming defensive tackle Youhanna Ghaifan was suspended indefinite­ly after being charged with two misdemeano­r offenses.
