Celebrities are forced to evacuate

Actress Alyssa Milano, director Guillermo del Toro and musician Melissa Etheridge were among the tens of thousands of people displaced Thursday and Friday by the Woolsey fire.

“Pulling out of my driveway with my two big dogs in the back,” actress Roma Downey tweeted Friday. “Malibu fire evacuation. Please pray for our community and the safety of our first responders.”

Kim Kardashian West posted video of her evacuation from Calabasas on her Instagram story Thursday night, and her husband Kanye West tweeted Friday that the family was safe. As of Friday afternoon, the Woolsey fire had consumed more than 1,000 acres and destroyed many homes.
