Arkansas Pine Bluff 115, Cal Baptist 107 (3OT): Martaveous McKnight scored nine of his 40 points in the third overtime and Charles Jackson made six three-pointers as the Golden Lions (1-4) held on at Little Rock. Milan Acquaah had 26 points to lead Cal Baptist (2-3). at UC Santa Barbara 76, Portland State 69: Ar’Mond Davis scored 20 points and the Gauchos used their defense to improve to 4-1. Portland State (2-2) made only three of 23 threepoint attempts and shot 35.5% overall. UC Riverside 77, Elon 64: The Highlanders shot 51% from the field and earned their first victory of the season against a Division I team with a big second half at Stockton. Sophomore guard Jordan Gilliam led all scorers with 17 points.

WOMEN

Kentucky 75, UCLA 74 (OT): Freshman Rhyne Howard made a basket to force overtime then clinched the victory with a free throw with 3.1 seconds left at the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Michaela Onyenwere had 28 points for the Bruins (3-3). Kentucky is 6-0. USC 55, Utah State 46: With a late 11-0 run, the Trojans improved to 5-0 despite shooting only 37.3% from the field against the Aggies (2-3) in the Nugget Classic at Reno. Sisters Minyon and Mariya Moore scored 16 points to lead USC.
